To disembody takes its starting point in Jasmin Daryani’s own birth in war-torn Iran, sprung out of an explosion.
To disembody is a work in three parts consisting of an essay bound together by a installation and a series of photographs.
The photographs portrays the explosion, not simply as a force but also as a phenomena, an event or feeling and the chain of reactions set to play in the vacuum of the debris and shatter in the aftermath of an explosion.
